Job summary

AMERICAN SYSTEMS is seeking a Physcial Security Lead to provide senior-level leadership and SME for physical security supporting a classified customer. You will oversee secure facility operations, access control, key control, policy implementation, and coordination of security requirements across Government and contractor activities.

Essential responsibilities include leading security support across locations, implementing policies and inspections, coordinating access procedures, ICD 705

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a relevant discipline with 10 years of directly relevant experience; or a bachelor’s degree with 14 years of directly related work experience.
• Experience supporting Special Access Programs and Sensitive Compartmented Information environments.
• Ability to coordinate across Government, contractor and external stakeholders; briefings, reports, SOPs, and official correspondence; lead a team in fast-paced classified environments.
• Security certifications are a plus, Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate physical security support activities across locations, facilities, and classified work areas.
• Support implementation and oversight of physical security policies, procedures, inspections, and protection measures for classified environments.
• Coordinate security requirements for secure spaces, access control, key control, visitor procedures, and facility protection.
• Assist with ICD 705-related security planning and coordination with Government stakeholders.
• Assist with contract and contractor-related security matters and integration with broader security operations.
