National Laboratory of the Rockies in Golden, CO seeks a Physical Security Specialist to oversee the Lock and Key Program and support Access Control operations. You will issue and track facility keys, perform audits, and coordinate locksmithing services with Facilities and security teams.

The role requires US citizenship, strong documentation skills, and the ability to implement security requirements per DOE guidelines. A six-month probationary period applies as part of the onboarding.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 6+ years experience or an Associate's degree with 4+ years experience.
• Ability to interpret and implement security policies and regulatory requirements.
• Experience maintaining accurate records/inventories of security equipment, including keys and locks.

Responsabilités

• Serve as SME for Lock and Key Program and maintain policies, procedures, and standards.
• Issue, recover, and maintain accountability for facility keys.
• Conduct audits and inventories and investigate lost or compromised keys.
