Omen AI in Irvine, CA is seeking a Physical Operations Manager to own the facility, security, and logistics. You will build the systems that keep labs, production, and inventory running smoothly, from space planning to vendor management.
You will implement security policies, manage access control and cameras, and lead OSHA/EHS programs to keep the lab safe. This is an in-person role requiring hands-on work and a bias for action.
Irvine, CA
Location: Irvine, CA (In-person)
Omen is miniaturizing lab-grade spectroscopy into field-deployable embedded sensors. Our systems deliver PPM-level trace analysis on the fluids inside industrial machines and datacenters. That lets us catch wear trends like bearing failures or coolant contamination in real time, weeks to months before a catastrophic failure.
Our team is a tightly knit group of ~20 builders, dropouts, and industry veterans. We don't build things that are good enough; we build things that are 100x better.
We are moving from prototypes to fielded hardware across two systems:
We have a growing building full of labs, chemicals, prototypes, and inventory, plus a steady flow of hardware going out to industrial sites and datacenters and sometimes coming back. Today, engineers handle the building, the doors, and the shipping in between their real jobs. We need an operator to own the physical side of the company: the facility, its security and safety, and everything that moves in and out of it. You will build these systems from scratch and keep them a step ahead of our growth.
Base Range of 110k to 140k + Equity
We take physics seriously, but we don't let red tape slow us down. You will be the person who keeps the building running, the lab safe, the doors secure, and the hardware moving. If you want to build an operation from the ground up for hardware that protects the most expensive infrastructure on the planet, we want to talk to you.
For government reporting purposes, we ask candidates to respond to the below self-identification survey.Completion of the form is entirely voluntary. Whatever your decision, it will not be considered in the hiringprocess or thereafter. Any information that you do provide will be recorded and maintained in aconfidential file.
