Job summary

The Periscope Group is seeking licensed Physical or Occupational Therapists to conduct one-time, in-home medical necessity assessments for clients across the United States. You will evaluate living environments, determine equipment and care needs, and document findings through a secure online portal from any device.

Set your own schedule as an independent contractor, with compensation per assessment ranging from $135 to $200.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Physical or Occupational Therapist.
• Malpractice/Liability Insurance (may be purchased at time of job offer).
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds, navigate stairs and varied home environments, and perform physical assessments as needed
• Reliable transportation and the ability to travel to and from member homes
• Proficient with technology: able to navigate online portals, upload documents, and use your preferred device for all work tasks
• Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Home safety assessment background (preferred)
• Knowledge of durable medical equipment (preferred)
• Experience with home modifications (preferred)
• Work history with diverse medical conditions (preferred)

Qualifications and Requirements

• Current licensure as a Physical or Occupational Therapist (Sorry, No PTAs or COTAs).
• Malpractice/Liability Insurance (may be purchased at the time of job offer).
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds, navigate stairs and varied home environments, and perform physical assessments as needed
• Reliable transportation and the ability to travel to and from member homes
• Proficient with technology: able to navigate online portals, upload documents, and use your preferred device (computer, tablet, or smartphone) for all work tasks
• Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills

Preferred Experience (Not Required)
