Job Description

PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center is seeking a full-time Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Physician in beautiful Vancouver, Washington.

We are looking for a passionate BC/BE Physiatrist to join our collegial team. Our team focuses on diagnosing pain or limitations and developing optimal management plans. Collaborating with primary care physicians, specialists, psychologists, nurses, and therapists, we aim to restore patients to their highest levels of independence. Our hospital-based physical rehabilitation program has 14 private rooms and is designed to help patients recover following injury or illness.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in both inpatient and outpatient settings, with experience and willingness to perform electrodiagnostic studies (EMG and NCV). Opportunities to offer treatments such as Botox for spasticity, TPI, SI Injections, Prolotherapy, and Suboxone are available. This position offers significant growth potential, including introducing sports medicine, engaging with the community through a free clinic, and teaching residents in inpatient and outpatient settings.

Practice Highlights
  • Join an established team of 3 experienced providers and 1:1 MA
  • Clinic Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm
  • Schedule: 1.0 FTE with 36 patient contact hours weekly
  • Call: 1:4, including one week of evening home call and weekend inpatient coverage
  • Outpatient practice seeing 10-20 patients daily, with onsite PT, OT, ST, Ultrasound, Labs, and Radiology
  • Established inpatient rehabilitation unit, CARF accredited since 1996, with Stroke Program since 2005
  • Level II trauma rehabilitation designation with comprehensive continuum of care
