Job Summary

HCA Florida Gulf Coast Hospital is seeking an exceptional physical medicine and rehabilitation physician to join us as Medical Director of an existing program.

Qualifications

• Board eligible / certified in PM&R
• Inpatient focus
• Full-time position with Medical Directorship duties
• Provide leadership and direction for the rehabilitation program
• Cover a 20-bed acute inpatient rehab unit in Panama City Beach, FL
• Accredited by CARF, ranking in the top 5 for quality outcomes among HCA's 71 rehab programs
• Dedicated team of trained therapy and nursing staff, including certified rehab nurses
• Experience with general acute rehab patients (stroke, orthopedic, trauma, amputation, neurological, debility)
• Optional hospital or nursing home consults
