Responsibilities

  • Performs process and quality improvements through data analysis and problem solving within Logistics.
  • Provides technical problem solving to Physical Logistics teams.
  • Performs root cause analysis of complex quality problems using tools such as 8D, Six Sigma, Projects, or SPC.
  • Participates in driving continuous quality improvement activities for plant manufacturing issues.
  • Coordinates cross-functional quality improvement/issue resolution teams to address repetitive issues with preventative measures.
  • Implements and validates effectiveness of process controls and inspections.
  • Supports key process characteristics while developing and steering implementation of control mechanisms.
  • Steers quality topics in daily Work Organization.
  • Ensures BMW standards & specifications are met to achieve quality product results.
  • Leads investigations from product audits regarding defect landscape & indicator results.
  • Reports status updates of open topics in Technology department meetings.
  • Collaborates and supports quality planning for series production.

  • Performs process and quality improvements through data analysis, problem solving, product audit, standards, and optimization with process controls within Logistics.
  • Provides technical problem solving to Physical Logistics teams.
  • Performs root cause analysis of complex quality problems utilizing tools (such as 8D, Six Sigma, Projects, or SPC).
  • Participates in driving continuous quality improvement activities forPlant manufacturing issues.
  • Coordinates cross-functional quality improvement/issue resolution teamsto address repetitive issues and quality improvement with a focus onpreventative measures.
