Job summary

  • Create and review measurement reports (MRRs) for non-conforming products.
  • Calibrate tools and test equipment to ensure calibration status.
  • Enter test results and supporting data in electronic records.

Job Description

Position Summary:

Physical lab technicians perform testing on material to ensure they uphold against all the processes they go through. This position call upon advanced knowledge of shop math, print reading, and quality reporting.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Work safely under functional safety guidelines such as PPE and equipment interaction.
  • Receive certifications on the following tests:
    • Torque - unseated & seated + heat cycles
    • Push out/Torque Out
    • Single Shear
    • Double Shear
    • Vibration (when required)
    • Impedence
    • Durability/Embrittlement
  • Participate in Round Robin/Gage R&R study.
  • Differentiate accredited sites that perform OSP tests on business samples.
  • Willingness to learn trouble shooting on Test Machines.
  • Ensure tools / equipment meet standard and calibration requirements.
  • Create MRRs on non-conforming products.
  • Process and validate outside purchase jobs.
  • Test results data entry.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.

Required Skills:

  • The ability to read and write English.

  • Deep knowledge of Product & Customer Specification
  • The ability to use complex gauges

  • Mechanical Testing experience (head ductility test, shear, tension, etc.)
  • Willing and able to work overtime and weekends as business needs demand

For informational purposes only, the range of pay for this role is $21.50 to $30.00 US Dollar (USD) Hourly based on a variety of factors.

For informational purposes only, this role is eligible to participate in the Company's Quarterly Cash Bonus Plan, paid out at the quarterly bonus factor of 1X the Company's bonus multiple, based on the Company's performance in the applicable quarter. Employees will receive 80 hours paid time off every year. Employees will also receive 10 paid holidays. Employees (and their families) are eligible to participate in the company's medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are eligible to enroll in the Company's 401(k) plan.

This position requires use of information or access to production processes subject to national security controls under U.S. export control laws and regulations (including, but not limited to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR)).
