An innovative educational program is seeking dedicated Physical Education Teachers to engage with students in a special summer initiative. This role requires a full commitment to the program, running Monday to Friday from July 7 through August 15. Candidates must hold appropriate NYS certification and be prepared to foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment. This is an excellent opportunity to make a significant impact on students' physical education and well-being during the summer months.
The Ulster BOCES Special Education Summer School Program is seeking Physical Education Teachers to work with students identified by the Committee on Special Education as requiring a 12-month program. Full commitment to the entirety of the program is necessary. Locations include the Center for Innovative Teaching & Learning (CITL) at Anna Devine and New Paltz Middle School. Appropriate NYS certification and fingerprinting are required. This is a non-benefited position.
All positions in the Summer School shall be filled by regularly employed unit members before considering external applicants.
The program runs five days per week, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., from July 7 through August 15.
Appropriate NYS Physical Education Teacher certification.
