Job summary

IMSAR invites a motivated student to join the Physical AI Team as an intern in Utah. You will collaborate with the software team on core radar/AI projects and apply quantitative methods to challenging problems.

The role targets undergrad (upper-division) or graduate students in applied math, EE, CS, physics, or AI/ML fields, with proficiency in Python (PyTorch, NumPy, SciPy) and/or C++. A bonus is given for side projects or research in physical AI, DSP, or spatial data pipelines.

Qualifications

• Pursuing undergraduate (upper-division) or graduate degree in Applied Math, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or a AI/ML related quantitative field.
• Core Skills: DSP, linear algebra, state estimation, or electromagnetics.
• Bonus: Exposure to radar signal processing (SAR, adaptive signal processing, GMTI, or phase history processing), SLAM, machine learning, or multi-modal sensor fusion.

PHYSICAL AI TEAM (Intern position)
