Job summary

IMSAR is seeking an Embedded Software Intern to assist our team in designing and developing radar-related features. You will work on a variety of projects, applying C/C++ and Python skills while gaining exposure to real-time software stacks.

The internship emphasizes collaboration, independent work, and a culture of learning. You will use Git, Docker, and cross-compilers as part of cross-functional efforts, building practical experience in embedded linux environments.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a BS or higher in CS, CE, or equivalent.
• Proficient in C, C++, and Python.
• Familiar with Git and Docker containers.
• Experience with Linux/Unix shell (BASH, SSH).
• Interest in software architecture and protocols.
• Familiarity with TCP/UDP, PCIe, I2C, SPI.
• Experience with multithreaded design and debugging.
• Cross-compiling toolchains experience.
• Familiarity with AS9100 standards.
• Interest in prompt engineering and LLM-assisted coding.

EMBEDDED SOFTWARE TEAM (Intern position)

Assist our team of embedded systems engineers design and develop new radar features, root cause and fix issues, and support continuous testing efforts. This internship experience can be tailored to your specific skills and aptitudes due to our large variety of projects and needs.
