Locum Tenens Physiatry - South Burlington, VT Long-Term Opportunity

RecruitWell is seeking a Board-Certified PM&R physician for a long-term locums opportunity in South Burlington, Vermont. Join a well-established and collaborative outpatient physiatry program focused on high-quality care in a scenic and lifestyle-friendly location.

Position Details:

1. Start: ASAP (pending credentialing)
2. End: October 31, 2025
3. Commitment: Must be available to work in clinic weekly (4 weeks/month)
4. Schedule:
5. Four full clinic days per week (8 AM - 5 PM)
6. One weekend of 24-hour call coverage per month
7. Locums provider will not be responsible for supervision
8. EMR System: Epic

Expectations for provider culture: Collaborative, team-oriented

1. Number of beds in this facility: The inpatient unit is currently 20 beds, with potential capacity for up to 35 beds
2. Night call: Overnight call is taken from home with no physical presence required; remote access to Epic medical records; no overnight admissions; no spinal interventions required; no opioid management unless deemed necessary
3. Procedures: Focus on spasticity management, including botulinum toxin injections

Practice Overview:

• Outpatient-focused PM&R within a larger, multidisciplinary rehab program
• Patient Population: Adults (18+)
• Daily Volume: Full clinic schedule
• Support: RN and MA support; no supervision required; no mid-levels
• EMR: Epic

Clinical Focus Areas:

• Spasticity care including Botox injections
• Spinal cord injury management
• General MSK PM&R
• Preferred skills: EMGs and joint injections

Candidate Requirements:

• Board Certified in PM&R (ABPMR)
• BLS certification
• Comfort practicing independently
• VT license (can assist with licensing); IMLC not accepted
