Job Opportunity: Physician in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation

Join a dedicated healthcare team at a well-established facility in Medford, Oregon. We are currently seeking two talented Physicians specializing in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation for a locum tenens position. This role offers the opportunity for flexible scheduling with coverage needed from 7 am to 7 pm, providing both scheduled clinical hours and call duties. Work amidst a supportive environment, focusing on inpatient care while managing a reasonable patient load.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality inpatient care and treatment plans for patients in the physical medicine and rehabilitation setting.
• Be on call from Monday to Sunday, with specified hours primarily from Monday to Saturday, 8 am - 4:30 pm.
• Effectively manage patient encounters, approximately 8-10 per shift.
• Coordinate with the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Participate in necessary assessments and be available for beeper call duties as required.
• Documentation of patient care activities using the Epic EMR system.
• Stay updated with industry standards and protocols pertinent to Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
• Proven experience in an inpatient clinical setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and patient needs.

License and Certification Requirements:

• Must have an active medical license in the state of Oregon (or ability to obtain).
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) may be required.
