Dubuque, Iowa, PM&R Opening
- Clinical Role:
- Candidates must be experienced and Board Certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R).
- Location: Acute Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit in Dubuque, Iowa.
- Responsibilities include managing medical cases and collaborating with an interdisciplinary care team including nurses, physicians, and therapists.
- The department has served the community for over 35 years, currently with 9 beds and an independent living apartment, with potential to expand to 17 beds.
- Patient age range: 18 years to geriatrics.
- Common diagnoses: stroke, head injury, spinal cord injury, Guillain Barre syndrome, Parkinson's disease, multiple sclerosis, major traumas, cardiac & orthopedic conditions, among others impairing functional abilities.
- Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday, with 36 patient contact hours per week.
- Note: Not accepting Locums or new graduate candidates; prior experience required.
