IconicCare is seeking a passionate physiatrist to join our physician-owned group, delivering care at skilled nursing and rehab facilities. You will round at 1–3 facilities weekly and manage 25+ patients daily, performing injections and rehabilitation-focused interventions.

This role offers autonomy within a supportive clinical team, a 5‑day workweek with no nights or weekends, and a starting salary of $155,000+ per year with comprehensive medical, dental, vision, life insurance and PTO benefits.

Qualifications

Current, unrestricted PA or NP license.
DEA license required or willing to obtain.
Nursing home and/or physiatry experience is a plus, but not required.
Comfort with peripheral joint injections (knees, shoulders, hips).
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
Familiarity with EHR charting.

Responsibilities

Round at 1–3 Skilled Nursing Facilities or rehab centers, 1–3 days per week at each location.

We’re Hiring:

We are seeking a passionate, motivated provider to join us full-time and independently offer care and consultations at our contracted facilities.

This role would round in Reno 4 days per week and Carson City 1 day per week

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

As a physiatrist, you will round at 1–3 Skilled Nursing Facilities or similar rehabilitation centers, 1–3 days per week at each location. Your primary focus will be delivering specialized physiatry care to 25+ patients per day who are experiencing difficulty participating in therapy due to pain or functional limitations.

Key Responsibilities Include

Performing focused assessments and developing individualized treatment plans in collaboration with facility primary care teams to optimize therapy participation and functional recovery.
Providing targeted interventions such as joint injections, Botox treatments, dry needling, and medication management based on patient-specific needs.
Serving as the sole physiatrist on-site, operating with a high level of autonomy while supported by a collaborative clinical team for consultation as needed.
Coordinating care and referring to other specialties or services for issues beyond the scope of physiatry.

This role is best suited for a self-motivated and confident clinician who thrives in independent practice environments and is passionate about improving rehabilitation outcomes.

Comfort and interest in performing peripheral joint injections (knees, shoulders, hips).
