Job summary

Optimum is partnering with facilities located one hour from Chicago, Illinois, to recruit a Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation physician. The role offers a competitive base salary with RVUs and a sign-on bonus, and is open to new graduates. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8a–5p, with on-call 1–2 holidays and 8 weekends per year.

Setting includes outpatient and inpatient care with 10–15 patients daily. Focus areas include MSK, spinal cord injuries, and a broad rehab caseload encompassing spine, brain

• Board-certified in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct follow-up appointments and new evaluations.

Opening Details:

• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8a-5p


• Call Requirement: 1-2 holidays and 8 weekends per year


• Setting: Outpatient and inpatient


• Patient Volume: 10-15 per day


• Focus on MSK cases and spinal cord injuries


• Duties: Conduct follow-up appointments, new evaluations, consults, and perform procedures


• Case Types: Spines, brain injuries, stroke rehabilitation, MSK, neuro rehabilitation, and EMG clinic


• Full clinical support available with the opportunity to work with residents


• Must be board-certified
