Job summary

Your Talent Team is seeking a Board Certified or Board EligiblePhysiatrist (PM&R) to join a leading Vermont healthcare system in Rutland. The role blends outpatient musculoskeletal care, neuro-rehabilitation, EMG/NCS, and inpatient rehab consults within a collaborative multi-disciplinary team.

Ideal candidates will have PM&R residency training and Vermont licensure, with active DEA and CSR. The position offers competitive salary, relocation support, loan assistance, and comprehensive benefits

Qualifications

MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
Completed ACGME-accredited PM&R residency; board certified or board eligible
Active Vermont medical license or eligibility
Active DEA registration and CSR license
Strong clinical skills in general physiatry and electrodiagnostics

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, and non-surgical management for musculoskeletal, spinal, stroke, traumatic brain injury, and neurological conditions
Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures including EMG/NCS, joint injections, soft tissue injections, and ultrasound-guided interventions
Conduct inpatient rehabilitation consultations and oversee functional recovery plans
Direct interdisciplinary team conferences with PT, OT, speech-language pathology, and nursing staff
Manage medical and rehab regimens, prescribe DME, and coordinate post-acute transitions
Maintain timely documentation in the health system’s EHR and support quality improvement initiatives
