Wellstar MCG Health Medical Center in Augusta, GA, seeks a board-certified/board-eligible Physiatrist to join the Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation team. Practice spans inpatient and outpatient PM&R, with leadership in education and research within a major academic medical center affiliated with Augusta University and the Medical College of Georgia.
Ideal candidates will handle comprehensive rehab for stroke, brain injury, spinal cord injury, chronic and acute pain, and musculoskeletal
Formación
- MD or DO degree required and board cert/board-eligible in PM&R
- ACGME-accredited PM&R residency completed
- Eligibility for Georgia medical licensure
- Strong clinical and interpersonal communication skills
- Commitment to multidisciplinary, patient-centered care
- Fellowship in brain injury/spinal cord/pain or related areas welcome
Responsabilidades
- Provide inpatient and/or outpatient PM&R care with a broad neurologic and musculoskeletal focus
- Perform comprehensive rehabilitation and non-operative management
- Collaborate with therapy services and other medical specialties
- Contribute to quality improvement, clinical research and teaching
- Participate in multidisciplinary care conferences and rehabilitation planning
