Job summary

Swedish Medical Group seeks a Board-certified Physiatrist to join the Swedish MS Center in Seattle. The outpatient role focuses on neurorehabilitation and spasticity management within a multidisciplinary team of neurologists, nursing, PT/OT, and infusion services, with a strong emphasis on MS care and a smaller ALS caseload.

The position includes 10% protected time for research and opportunities for education and community engagement.

Qualifications

• MD or DO with completed ACGME-accredited PM&R residency.
• Board certification in PM&R or certification expected within defined window.
• Fellowship training or substantial experience in neurorehabilitation, MS focus preferred.
• Competence with botulinum toxin injections for spasticity and intrathecal baclofen management.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient neurorehabilitation and spasticity management for MS and ALS patients.
• Collaborate with neurology, nursing, PT/OT, and infusion teams.
• Participate in provider meetings and care coordination.
• Educate patients and engage community in MS Center mission.
