Job summary

SSM Health Rehabilitation Hospital is seeking a Staff Physiatrist to join our inpatient rehabilitation program in Missouri. The position offers a choice of 1099 independent contractor or W-2 employed arrangements with base salary and productivity bonuses.

Qualified candidates will hold a valid state MD/DO license and BLS at hire, with inpatient rehab experience preferred. This role emphasizes compassionate, comprehensive PM&R care in an established hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Valid State MD/DO license.
• BLS certification required at hire.
• Inpatient rehabilitation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide physiatry care for adult inpatient rehabilitation patients.
• Lead and collaborate with an experienced rehabilitation medicine team.
• Participate in hospital consults and interdisciplinary rounds.
• Deliver comprehensive PM&R evaluations, treatment plans, and documentation.
• Offer flexible practice arrangements (1099 or W-2) as applicable.

Our inpatient rehabilitation hospital is committed to providing exceptional and compassionate care to best address the medical, physical, emotional and vocational challenges for individuals with brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, neurological disorders, orthopedic issues, amputation and multiple traumas.

• Stable practices anchored with inpatient rehab and supplemented with hospital consults and/or SNF and/or LTAC
