Job summary

SSM Health Rehabilitation Hospital in Missouri is seeking a Staff Physiatrist (Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation) to join a collaborative team at Richmond Heights, Lake St. Louis and Bridgeton locations.

The role offers full-time schedules with flexibility and independence in an inpatient rehab setting, including opportunities for hospital consults and SNF/LTAC collaborations. Applicants must hold a valid MD/DO license and BLS at hire; inpatient rehab experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid State MD/DO license.
• BLS required at hire.
• Inpatient Rehabilitation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership within an experienced physical medicine physician team.
• Deliver high-quality inpatient rehabilitation care to patients with brain injuries, spinal injuries, neurological disorders, and orthopedic issues.
• Collaborate with hospital colleagues and independent contractors to ensure comprehensive patient care.
