Job summary

archcarecareers is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to support patient evaluation and treatment under supervision. The role involves assisting a Physical Therapist with procedures, tests, and complex treatments to ensure safe, effective care.

You will report patient progress to the Physical Therapist, participate in continuing education, maintain accurate billing information, and contribute to a cooperative, respectful team environment.

Qualifications

• Current NYS Licensed Physical Therapist credential required.

Responsibilities

• Assist Physical Therapist in performing procedures, tests, and complex treatments to ensure the safe, effective evaluation and treatment of patients.
• Reports to the Physical Therapist information relating to the patient's progress, complication, and/or response to treatment.
• Assumes responsibility for continued professional growth and development, by participating in continuing education programs, and other appropriate learning experiences.
• Maintains accurate billing information in accordance with procedures, daily.
• Creates a work atmosphere that promotes cooperation, respect, flexibility and teamwork amongst peers and staff.
• Must be able to work independently with periodic support and direction.
• Must be alert and attentive to patients and work environment throughout.
