Seneca Family of Agencies seeks a Therapist for its Partial Hospitalization Program in Oakland, CA. The role focuses on providing intensive, short-term therapy, documenting activities, and supporting the clinical integrity of the program with group, individual, and family sessions.

Requirements include a Master’s degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or related field and California BBS licensure. This is an on-site position with a competitive salary and benefits package, including

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or related subject area.
• Registered with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS).
• Ability to work effectively as part of a transdisciplinary team.
• At least 21 years of age.
• TB test clearance, fingerprinting clearance, and any other state/federal licensing or certification requirements.
• Own vehicle, valid driver's license, clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Hold clinical integrity for program.
• Maintain on-time clinical documentation.
• Facilitate group, individual, and family therapy.
• Facilitate risk assessments, case management, and discharge planning.
• Provide appropriate clinical trainings and information to staff when needed.
• Develop and maintain relationships with community members and providers.
• Proactively problem solving when identified issues arise.
• Support with other program tasks and projects assigned by supervisor.
• Assist with intakes, as needed.
