Job summary

Four Winds Hospital in Saratoga Springs, NY is seeking a full-time PHP Therapist to deliver psychotherapy in our Partial Hospital Outpatient Program. You will conduct group, individual, and family therapy, perform intake assessments, and participate in discharge planning.

Qualifications include a NYS Limited Permit as MHC or MSW, a Master’s degree in social work or clinical psychology, strong communication and writing skills, and preferred DBT knowledge with at least two years post-master

Qualifications

• NYS Limited Permit as a MHC or MSW; LMHC/LMSW/LCSW preferred.
• Master’s degree from an accredited school of social work or clinical psychology.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational, and writing skills.
• Knowledge of DBT and its group-therapy applications is preferred.
• Minimum of two years post-master working with inpatient/outpatient mental health.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychotherapy groups, individual therapy, and family therapy in an outpatient setting.
• Perform intake assessments, case management, and discharge planning.
• Provide services in the Partial Hospital Outpatient Program; on-site and virtual sessions as needed.

Job description

Four Winds Hospital is a leading provider of specialized inpatient and outpatient behavioral health services for children, adolescents and adults. We want you to join our Four Winds family.

We are seeking applicants for a full time PHP Therapist to provide clinical services to the Partial Hospital Outpatient Program. Duties include, but not limited to, conducting psychotherapy groups, individual therapy, family therapy, case management services, and intake assessments. Ability to conduct virtual program is required.

The job is in-person onsite at our Saratoga Campus in Saratoga Springs, NY.

Job highlights:

• Monday – Friday (8:30am-4:30pm) with on-call responsibilities.

Qualifications:

• Valid NYS Limited Permit as a MHC or MSW License NYS as LMHC, LMSW or LCSW preferred
• Master’s degree from an accredited school of social work or clinical psychology
• Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational, and writing skills
• Knowledge of Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and its application in a group therapy setting is preferred.
• Minimum of two years post masters working with an inpatient or outpatient mental health population is preferred.
