Job summary

LaraBench is seeking a mid-level PHP Software Developer to join a collaborative team on a hybrid schedule in the UK. You will develop and maintain web applications using PHP and Laravel, with JavaScript frontend work and API integrations, contributing to a growing product suite.

The role offers flexible working, 2 days per week in the office, a discretionary bonus scheme, private healthcare, and a formal training programme.

Qualifications

• 3-4+ years' PHP development experience.
• Experience with Laravel and PHP projects.
• Strong frontend JS and API integration skills.
• Experience with AWS or Azure cloud services.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web apps using PHP & Laravel.

• Maintain and optimise MySQL databases.

• Develop and maintain web applications using PHP & Laravel

• Use Claude Code for code review, improvements, documentation, troubleshooting and general productivity
