Job summary

LaraBench seeks an experienced Software Developer to support and enhance a mission‑critical telecom operations platform. You will modernize legacy code while delivering new features, primarily backend in PHP/Laravel and frontend in Vue.js/TypeScript/Tailwind.

The role requires deep telecom systems knowledge, strong debugging, and the ability to work remotely within EST hours. Contract continues for 6–12 months with potential extension.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with PHP + Laravel.
• Experience with Vue.js, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, CSS.
• Tailwind CSS or similar utility-first framework.
• GitLab (repos, branches, merge requests, code reviews, issue tracking).
• Experience maintaining large, mature, mission-critical applications.
• Advanced knowledge of telecommunications systems/terminology/network-service workflows.
• Strong debugging, root-cause analysis, and code review experience.
• Experience with AI-assisted dev tools (used responsibly, with independent verification).

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, and maintain features on the telecom ops platform.
• Work within the existing 10-year-old codebase safely — no breaking changes.
• Backend via PHP/Laravel, frontend via Vue.js/TypeScript/Tailwind.
• Diagnose complex application, data, and production issues.
• Peer code reviews, QA validation, documentation.

Seeking an experienced Software Developer with strong telecommunications domain knowledge to support and enhance a mission-critical, ~10-year-old operations platform. Role involves both legacy modernization and new feature development.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with PHP + Laravel
• Vue.js, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, CSS
• Tailwind CSS or similar utility-first framework
