Stream Companies is looking for an experienced open source web developer. This developer should know all the ins and outs of open source web development, specifically focusing on Zend and Magento. Being a full service advertising agency, Stream is looking for an individual who is passionate about web development but is looking for a creative, laid back, not-too-techy environment.

Job Description

• Candidate must be able to work in fast paced, deadline driven environment
• Excellent team player, passionate and self-motivated with a can do attitude
• Must be a strong advocate of following proper coding standards and best practices.
• Ability to track time and document changes and work performed
• Advertising agency experience is a bonus

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge and working experience in:
  • PHP 5+
  • MVC Framework experience (Zend Framework and Magento preferred; Code Ignitor, Symphony, OpenCart, ect. considered) – ability to provide examples is a must
  • SQL (MySQL) including complex database schema design and optimizations Data connectivity and manipulation though XML, Ajax, and Jquery
• Understanding of common code repositories like PEAR
• Experience accessing Apache/Linux environments via FTP and SSH protocols. Use of Control Panel or Plesk a plus.
• Familiar with developer tools like, or similar to, SQLyog, Putty, WinSCP, and DreamWeaver.

Requirements

• At least a Bachelor degree in a computer-related field or equivalent (computer science/programming) and/or Web development related certifications
• 3+ years’ experience
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Adobe Photoshop applications.
