Job summary

Andersen is hiring a Backend Developer (PHP) to develop scalable digital solutions and contribute to international software projects. You will own backend systems, design architecture, and implement integrations with external services.

Require 3+ years in backend development, strong PHP 8.x, Laravel/Symfony, and Magento 2 / Adobe Commerce experience. English proficiency is essential for collaboration with global clients.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of backend development experience.
• Strong PHP 8.x knowledge with OOP and SOLID principles.
• Commercial experience with Laravel and/or Symfony; building portals and integrations.
• Hands-on Magento 2 / Adobe Commerce development experience.
• WordPress / WooCommerce experience including plugins and integrations.
• Experience designing REST APIs / GraphQL.
• Experience integrating external systems (payments, CRM/ERP/1C, marketplaces).
• Strong MySQL/MariaDB skills with query optimization.
• Knowledge of Redis or other caching mechanisms.
• Proficient Git, Docker, and CI/CD workflows.
• English level: Upper-Intermediate or higher.

Responsibilities

• Independently managing backend development for e-commerce projects and complex portals.
• Designing backend architecture and making key technical decisions.
• Selecting platform and tech stack based on client needs and objectives.
• Developing and maintaining PHP-based backend systems for performance and scalability.
• Integrating with external systems (payments, CRM/ERP/1C, marketplaces, delivery providers).
• Designing and implementing APIs and system-to-system integrations.
• Owning backend work from architecture to launch and support.
• Estimating tasks, identifying risks, and proposing solutions.
• Communicating with clients in English to align on requirements.
