Formlabs in Somerville, MA, is seeking a Materials Scientist - Photopolymer Development to design advanced photopolymers and drive materials from concept to launch. You will work hand-in-hand with product, hardware, and software teams to ensure performance and manufacturability on the Form 4 platform.

Ideal candidates have a strong polymer science background, hands-on lab experience, and a record of data-driven decisions.

Qualifikationen

• PhD/MS/BS in a related polymer science field with strong experimental skills.
• Experience developing thermoset materials (epoxies, urethanes, acrylates).
• Hands-on lab work with data-driven decision making and SOPs.
• Track record of product-focused research, publications, or IP.

Aufgaben

• Design and optimize photopolymer formulations for additive manufacturing.
• Lead transfer from lab concept to commercial launch with scale-up support.
• Establish structure–property relationships through experiments and analytics.
• Collaborate with product, hardware, and software teams for Form 4 compatibility.
