Qualifications

• BS, MS, or PhD in Optical Engineering, Physics, or related field.
• 2–5+ years in photonic hardware.
• Experience designing or integrating optical components and assemblies.
• Hands-on lab alignment and characterization experience.
• Familiarity with Zemax, Code V or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop photonic components including isolators, switches, connectors, modulators.
• Build optical test setups and characterize performance (insertion loss, isolation, return loss).
• Collaborate with manufacturing, reliability, and supply chain to transfer designs to production.
