Job summary

Keysight is seeking a research intern for photonic integrated circuit characterization in Santa Clara. You will work with state-of-the-art instrumentation to characterize PICs and help automate tools and analysis methodologies. Qualifications

Completed a B.S. degree in an engineering or science discipline.
Graduate student majoring in Optics, Photonics, Physics or Electrical Engineering.
Strong familiarity with PICs, waveguides, fiber-to-chip coupling, and passive/active components.
Hands-on experience with optical and electrical test and measurement instrumentation.
Python programming with numpy/matplotlib.

Responsibilities

Characterize PICs using automated instrumentation in a lab.
Improve and automate PIC characterization tools and analysis methods.
Assist in simulation and design to improve integrated components.
Collaborate in a multidisciplinary team in Keysight Labs.
