Job summary

Montserrat is seeking Photography Monitors for the PVF department. The role provides access to the Photography Darkroom, film processing area, and photography studio for enrolled PVF students. Shifts include Mon-Thu evenings and weekend afternoons, with a 15 USD hourly wage.

Responsibilities include sign-in/out, nightly checklists, assisting students with equipment, maintaining chemistry and studio gear, and enforcing rules. Contact Joe Saunders for details.

Qualifications

• Must communicate well with the supervisor about issues or anything that arises in space.
• Strong communication and reliability in a student employment setting.
• Willingness to ask questions when unsure and enforce rules when needed.

Responsibilities

• Follow opening and closing procedures and oversee the sign-in and sign-out of all students in Picktime.
• Complete proper checklists of nightly monitor duties along with shift-specific duties.
• Assist students with darkroom or studio equipment.
• Check and maintain chemistry in the darkroom and film processing area and change when necessary.
• Check and maintain Studio Photography equipment.
• Observe emergency procedures based on events.
• Other duties may be assigned.
• Communicate well with the supervisor about issues.
