Job summary

Trove Brands, LLC. is seeking an experienced Photography Manager to lead our in-house Photography and Retouching teams at our Lehi, Utah HQ. This hands-on leadership role combines directing a talented team with actively contributing to lifestyle, campaign, studio, product, and e-commerce imagery.

You will collaborate with art directors and brand teams, set technical standards, and drive high-quality visual storytelling across our portfolio of brands.

Qualifications

• Significant professional experience in commercial photography.
• Strong portfolio across lifestyle, product, studio, campaign, and/or brand photography.
• Deep expertise in professional lighting, composition, camera systems, and studio photography.
• Strong creative judgment and ability to work across different brands and visual styles.
• Experience leading, mentoring, or providing creative direction to other creative professionals.
• Strong understanding of retouching, color management, and post-production workflows.
• Ability and desire to remain actively involved in shooting while leading a team.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
• Ability to balance creative quality with production timelines, volume, and business needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop in-house photographers and retouchers.
• Actively photograph lifestyle, campaign, studio, product, and other brand projects as part of the team's regular workload.
• Participate in creative reviews, kickoffs, pre-production, shot planning, and project meetings.
• Partner with art directors, producers, designers, and brand teams to translate concepts into photographic execution.
• Set and maintain a high creative and technical standard across all photography.
• Develop lighting, composition, camera, and capture approaches for productions.
• Provide creative direction, technical guidance, and feedback to photographers and retouchers.
• Oversee retouching and align capture, color management, post-production, and final delivery.
• Ensure PDP and product imagery accurately represents color, materials, and finishes.
• Help improve workflows for photography, retouching, studio, and quality-control.
• Support resource planning across internal photographers, freelancers, and external partners.
• Evaluate equipment, lighting, technology, and tools to improve quality and efficiency.
