Job summary

The College of Southern Nevada is seeking a part-time Lab Assistant for Photography (FY2027) in Las Vegas. The role supports equipment reservation, kit preparation, and lab operations across studios and Print Lab, with duties handling printing and printer maintenance.

Must be an advanced Photography student or graduate, and be able to lift up to 50 lbs. The posting closes 06/30/2027, with a 48.8% FTE equivalent and hourly pay of $12.00.

Responsibilities

• Reserve future equipment pickups for students and/or instructors by means of a calendar based reservation system.
• Help to prepare equipment kits that will be picked up by students.
• Inspect equipment for any damages and/or missing parts upon return from students.
• Prepare equipment for students and/or instructors to use in Lab Areas/Studio.
• Assist students with printing in Print Lab when needed.
• Maintain and troubleshoot printer issues.
