St. Louis Community College invites applications for a full-time Instructor II / Assistant Professor to teach and oversee an AFA photography program within a NASAD-accredited art & design department in the St. Louis area.

The successful candidate will teach foundation digital and darkroom courses, plus more advanced classes, maintain wet and digital labs, and contribute to curriculum development and student advising.

Qualificações

• The MFA in Photography or closely related field from an accredited institution.
• A demonstrated ability to teach courses in photographic practice, history, and theory at the collegiate level.

Responsabilidades

• Teach a range of courses across the photography curriculum, including foundations and advanced classes.
• Develop and update program curriculum to maintain a degree aligned with four-year schools.
• Maintain and manage the studio, computer classroom, and darkroom facilities.
• Repair equipment as needed and manage schedules.
• Advise students and assist with portfolio development and career planning.
• Participate in assessments, program reviews, and accreditation activities.
