Job summary

Waubonsee Community College is seeking a Part-time Adjunct Faculty member to teach Photography (ART 104) at the Sugar Grove Campus. The role includes designing syllabi, lessons, activities, and assessments to meet course outcomes while using instructional technology to support diverse learners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Linguistics, Interpreter Education, Deaf Studies, or related field.
• Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf certification and/or be a native ASL user.
• Fluency in sign language

Responsibilities

• Designing syllabi, lessons, activities, assignments, and assessments to meet course descriptions and learning outcomes.
• Meeting all deadlines for attendance, grades, and assessment data.
• Incorporating learning-centered principles and technology to deliver teaching and learning.
• Collaborating with colleagues to serve students and community.
