Job summary

Penn State Campus Recreation is seeking a Part-Time Work Study Student Photographer to document events, programs, and services on the University Park campus. You will capture images and videos that align with brand guidelines and support marketing efforts, while collaborating with the marketing team.

The role requires a background check, flexibility for variable hours (including mornings and weekends), and is open to students with Federal Work Study awards. Starting hourly rate is $15.50.

Qualifications

• Candidates with experience in photography, videography, social media, or communications are highly preferred.
• Experience using a DSLR or mirrorless camera in manual mode.
• Proficiency in Adobe editing software, including Photoshop, Lightroom, and Premiere Pro.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to interact positively with patrons and employees.

Responsibilities

• Photography & Videography: Capture high-quality images and video content that align with Campus Recreation's marketing goals and branding guidelines.
• Attend events and programs to document student engagement and facility usage.
• Edit and prepare photos and videos for social media, promotional materials, and digital platforms.
• Ensure consistency in visual content to support a cohesive brand identity.
