Job summary

Photogenic is hiring a Sales Associate/Photographer at the South Carolina Aquarium in Charleston, SC. The role combines guest service with on-site photography, helping families capture memories and take home keepsakes.

You'll work in a fast-paced retail/photo environment, operate POS systems, and handle camera gear. Prior photography experience isn't required, just enthusiasm and a customer-first mindset.

Qualifications

• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to work independently.
• Flexibility to work during peak retail hours.
• Ability to process sales transactions and cash handling.
• Retail, service industry or cashier experience preferred but not required.
• At least 16 years of age.
• Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50 pounds and stand for prolonged periods.

Responsibilities

• Take photos and provide guests with memorable souvenirs.
• Photography experience not required.
• Provide excellent guest service and a positive experience for all.
• Operate POS system and photography equipment.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
