Role Description

The Photographer and Videographer is a full-time, on-site role based in Houston, TX. This role is responsible for planning and shooting photo and video content for clients’ social media channels, digital campaigns, and brand assets. Day-to-day tasks include collaborating with strategists and creatives to interpret briefs, setting up and breaking down lighting and equipment, directing talent during shoots, and ensuring consistent visual quality across projects. The role also involves organizing and archiving media files, and contributing creative ideas for campaigns and content series. The Photographer and Videographer will regularly participate in on-site client shoots, studio sessions, and team meetings to align on project timelines and deliverables.

Qualifications

• Strong photography skills, including experience with studio and natural lighting, composition, and camera operation.
• Proficiency in videography, including camera setups, audio capture, shot planning, and storytelling through video.
• Ability to plan and execute content shoots, including location scouting, shot lists, and coordination with clients or talent.
• Understanding of social media platforms and digital marketing needs, including vertical formats, short-form video, and brand consistency.
• Strong creative judgment and attention to detail, with the ability to follow brand guidelines while proposing fresh visual concepts.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills, with experience working in cross-functional creative or agency teams.
• Comfort working on-site in Houston, TX, including attending client locations and occasional evening or weekend shoots as needed.
• Relevant experience in commercial, lifestyle, or social media content production; agency or brand-side experience is a plus.
