Job summary

Hamilton Jewelers is seeking a passionate product photographer to create and develop high-quality images that highlight product and brand features. You will shoot, edit, and retouch imagery for website and advertising campaigns, in-studio and outdoors, while maintaining equipment and collaborating with the Marketing team.

The role requires at least 2 years of photography experience with a strong portfolio and proficiency in Photoshop and Lightroom.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of photography experience with a portfolio.
• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom.
• Experience photographing small, high-value merchandise is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Shoot, edit, and retouch imagery for website and advertising campaigns.
• Styling of product photography on models and flat lays, in-studio and outdoors.
• Support Marketing department and collaborate with other teams.
• Research products to understand how best to photograph each brand.
• Source props to enhance product presentation.
• Maintain equipment and workspace.
• Ensure accurate color correction and lighting for all products.
• Organize and edit product photos using Photoshop/Lightroom and meet deadlines.

Job description

The Photographer is responsible for creating and developing high quality images as well as editing as per Hamilton’s standard. This role must be a passionate and creative product photographer to highlight the best qualities of our products and brands through images.

This position may be required to work weekends, some holidays, and peak sales periods.

Responsibilities

• Shoot, edit, and retouch imagery for website and advertising campaigns.
• Styling of product photography on models and lying flat, both in-studio and outdoors.
• Support a collaborative and respectful environment within Hamilton’s Marketing department as well as with all other employees.
• Research products to understand how best to photograph each brand.
• Sourcing props that will enhance the product.
• Maintain equipment and workspace.
• Ensure accurate color correction and lighting for all products.
• Organize and edit product photos using Adobe Photoshop/ Lightroom and meet all company deadlines.

Skills

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.

Education & Experience

• Minimum 2 years of photography experience with a portfolio.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop, Lightroom.
• Experience working with small, high-value merchandise preferred.

• Physical activity not limited to: reading, writing, walking, walking up and down stairs, standing, sitting, kneeling, lifting up to 25lbs.
