Job summary

Manière De Voir Ltd in New York is seeking a Photographer to shoot and edit high-quality still-life, campaigns and ecommerce photography that showcases our premium product offering.

You will work with Marketing and Creative, manage shoot requirements, maintain brand visual identity, and brief freelance support as needed. A 3+ year track record and a Bachelor’s in Photography are required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience as a Photographer or in a similar role.
• Experience with studio equipment (cameras, lighting, etc.).
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Studio.

Job description

As our Photographer, you’ll be responsible for shooting and editing high-quality still-life, campaigns and ecommerce photography that inspires our customer and showcases our unique designs, details and premium product offering. Acting as a gatekeeper for our photographic output, you’ll possess strong technical skills and a portfolio which demonstrates your flair for creative imagery and visual identity. Working alongside Marketing and Creative, you’ll work on a range of exciting and varying projects, upholding a meticulous attention to detail in and amongst a busy workload, to continuously drive forward the look and feel of the brand.

The Day to Day

• Efficiently manage shoot requirements and imagery needs across the business, delivering high-quality work in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with the team and act as a visual guardian, ensuring consistency and accuracy across all photographic output.
• Create compelling imagery that adheres to our strong visual identity, for ecommerce, campaigns and beyond.
• Maintain a strong understanding of bestselling products to ensure unique selling points are highlighted (fabrics, fit, details and functionality).
• Brief freelance support as and when required.

You Should Apply If

• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Photographer role or similar.
• A keen interest in creative and visual identity.
• Experience with studio equipment (cameras, lighting etc.).
• Strong photographic and image editing skills.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Studio.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Photography or related field.
• Adaptable and comfortable working with changing priorities and deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail, ensuring high standards of creative output are maintained.
• A positive and collaborative work ethic, with the ability to work in a team and under own initiative.
• An awareness of current industry and technology standards, competitive landscape and market trends.
• A portfolio of work demonstrating your experience to date.

The Interview Process

Stage 1 – Internal Recruiter call (15 mins)

Stage 2 – Initial chat (30 mins). An introductory conversation with the hiring manager to learn more about yourself and your experience, and for you to find out more about the role.

Stage 3 - Task

Stage 4 – Formal interview (60 mins). The final stage is to present your completed task and an in-depth conversation with the hiring manger.
