Job Overview

We are looking for a Photographer to bring Bauer Hockey’s visual voice to life through progressive, trend-forward photography. The role requires a well‑versed skill set in lifestyle, studio, event/editorial, athlete in‑action, and product photography with a heavy emphasis on social, digital, and retail channels.

Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end photography and execute all content shoots.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with creative, digital, product, and channel teams.
• Develop a deep understanding of social content and the evolution of photography on social channels.
• Deliver assets optimized for social (IG, YT, paid), digital (bauer.com, ecomm, & paid ads), and retail (in‑store signage, etc.).
• Share set/space with multiple parties: video, native shooters, product managers, etc.
• Perform expert in‑action photography and work with athletes of all levels – beginner to pro.
• Perform image processing and transfer with re‑touch capabilities.
• Maintain strict quality control standards, stay up‑to‑date with art direction and guidelines/specs.
• Monitor and manage studio photography equipment and maintenance.
• Assist on editorial and creative marketing shoots and ad‑hoc projects as required.
• Support and grow roster management of content sourcing photographers.
• Stay current on industry tools, techniques, and best practices in photography.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant field experience in the sports industry with commercial, brand, or in‑house photography.
• Advanced knowledge of photography, lighting, Adobe Suite, color treatment, and photo editing.
• Team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Creative thinker who problem‑solves and can handle high volumes of workflow.
• Ability to influence on‑set decision making – e.g., pace setting, model positioning, and expression.
• Direct experience producing work for sport, lifestyle, performance, or culturally‑driven consumer brands; familiarity with athlete‑driven content and emerging tools (including AI) preferred.
• Operate out of Exeter, NH office (in‑house studio location) and travel as needed for essential job functions.
