Overview

We are seeking a skilled Photogrammetrist to join our geospatial team, specializing in the creation of precise maps and 3D models from aerial and satellite imagery. This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects in transportation, energy, and urban land development.

Responsibilities
  • Process and analyze aerial and satellite imagery to generate accurate topographic maps, orthophotos, and 3D terrain models for infrastructure planning.
  • Collaborate with engineers and planners to integrate photogrammetric data into transportation, energy, and land development projects.
  • Perform quality control and validation of geospatial data to ensure compliance with project specifications and regulatory standards.
  • Utilize photogrammetric software and GIS tools to extract features, calculate measurements, and support environmental impact assessments.
  • Maintain and update spatial databases, ensuring data integrity and accessibility for multidisciplinary project teams.
  • Mission planning for acquisition of Lidar and imagery from manned and UAV platforms.
  • Lidar processing from manned, UAV and mobile platforms.
Qualifications

Minimum:

  • BA/BS and 8 years of Photogrammetry or related field of experience or demonstrated equivalence of experience and/or education.
  • Certified Photogrammetrist.

Preferred:

  • Experience and proficiency with Bentley, Autodesk, PLSCADD, Terrasolid Suite, DATEM, drone deploy.
  • Knowledge and experience with National/State/Local DOT and Utility Standards (EPRI) for remote sensing and survey data.
  • Experienced in high-precision Energy, Transportation, and Civil projects requiring advanced geospatial analysis.
  • Knowledge and experience with FAA part 107.
  • Demonstrates proficiency in written and verbal communication, with the ability to convey technical information clearly and effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
  • Demonstrates strong collaboration and people skills, contributing to team success by fostering positive working relationships and supporting a culture of shared accountability and professional growth.
  • Experienced in applying innovative photogrammetric methodologies to extract and analyze spatial data, contributing to the development of advanced mapping and modeling solutions.
Additional Information
  • Relocation is not an option for this position.
  • Sponsorship for US employment authorization is not available now or in the future for this position.
  • Offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The range for this position is $115,000 to $140,000.
