Job summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor is seeking a skilled Scanner Technician to join our Photo Operations team in the semiconductor industry. The successful candidate will troubleshoot and resolve complex photo scanner issues, analyze data, and work with engineering and vendors to ensure production quality.

The role requires a two-year technical degree or equivalent experience and 5+ years in high-volume photo semiconductor environments.

Qualifications

• Two year technical degree or equivalent military experience required.
• Experience with photo semiconductor processes in high-volume manufacturing preferred.
• Ability to follow SOPs and technical documents; strong problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex photo scanner equipment issues.
• Attention to detail and clear communication with the confidence to address unknowns.
• Analyze data using software tools to identify trends and translate into solutions.
• Engage with Engineering and vendors to ensure production quality results from the scanner equipment.
• Execute change point management to ensure quality execution and validation.
• Continuously update SOPs to maintain high quality results.
• Work hours: C Shift – Thu-Sat 6:45am–7:15pm with alternating Wednesday.
