Job summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor is seeking a skilled Scanner Technician to join our Photo Operations team. You will monitor and troubleshoot wafer fabrication photo scanner equipment, driving yield improvements and quality.

The ideal candidate has a two-year technical degree or military equivalent and 5+ years in photo semiconductor in a high-volume factory. This role is on-site, with C shift Thursday-Saturday.

Qualifications

• Two-year technical degree or equivalent military experience, plus 5+ years in photo semiconductor in high-volume manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and respond to in-line issues in wafer fabrication photo scanner equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex photo scanner equipment issues.
• Attention to detail and clear communication with the confidence to escalate unknowns or issues.
• Analyze data using software tools to identify trends and propose solutions.
• Engage with Engineering and vendors to ensure production quality results.
• Execute change point management to ensure quality execution and validation.
• Continuously update SOPs to assure quality results.
• Work hours: C Shift – Thursday through Saturday (6:45am – 7:15pm) with alternating Wednesdays.
