Job summary

Comfrt is seeking a detail-oriented Photo Production Assistant - Apparel to join our Miami studio and support daily photo production operations for e-commerce and marketing shoots. This on-site role focuses on garment prep, inventory control, and on-set logistics to ensure smooth shoots.

You will organize samples, maintain production garments, and collaborate with a small team to meet fast-paced deadlines while upholding brand standards and workflow efficiency.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in fashion/apparel photo production or photo studio environments.
• Strong organizational and project management skills for high-volume production workflows.
• Experience with e-commerce, fashion, or apparel photography/production preferred.
• Exceptional organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift garment racks, and work in an active studio.

Role Overview

We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Photo Production Assistant - Apparel to support the day-to-day operations of Comfrt's Miami studio. You will keep apparel samples organized and the studio running smoothly while providing hands-on support during photo production days—including setup, garment prep, and on-set logistics. This is an on-site role critical to ensuring our e-commerce and marketing photography goes off without a hitch.

Key Responsibilities

• Organize, catalog, and maintain inventory of all samples and production garments.
• Keep racks, shelves, and storage areas tidy, labeled, and logically organized at all times.
• Track all sample movement in and out of the studio for shoots, fittings, loans, and returns, ensuring accurate records are maintained.
• Perform quality control checks on garments prior to shoots, reviewing fit, construction, and cleanliness.
• Steam, tag, and prep all garments for content days and photo shoot days.
• Assist during fittings, photo shoots, and studio visits, including set-up, teardown, and on-set support throughout the day.
• Maintain overall studio cleanliness, including sweeping, tidying common areas, and managing supply levels.
• Proactively identify workflow improvements and stay ahead of studio needs before they become issues.
• Support miscellaneous errands, returns, and supply pickups as needed.

Requirements

• 2+ years of hands-on experience working in fashion/apparel photo production or photo studio environments, with proven experience supporting and prepping garments for photoshoots.
• Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage high-volume production workflows, timelines, and multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with e-commerce, fashion, or apparel photography/production strongly preferred, with a professional understanding of studio and shoot processes.
• Exceptional organizational skills and a strong attention to detail.
• Experience with garment steaming, care, and quality inspection.
• Familiarity with sample tracking systems or inventory management tools.
• An eye for visual organization and brand presentation.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment without losing accuracy.
• A proactive, low-ego attitude. You take initiative, no task is too small, and you take pride in keeping things running smoothly.
• Strong communication skills and comfort working closely with a small, collaborative team.
• Physically able to stand for extended periods, lift garment racks, and handle the physical demands of an active studio environment.
• Based in Miami, FL. This role requires full-time, on-site presence.
• Must have own means of transportation.
