Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Photo Specialist to deliver a distinctive customer experience through expert photo services, digital passport photos, and support for transactions at the photo counter. You will own the photo department's inventory, maintain supplies, and ensure product availability while promoting photo products and services.

The role requires handling cash, processing returns and exchanges, and assisting with merchandising and order fulfillment.

Responsibilities

• Engages customers at the photo counter with warmth and purpose by greeting them and identifying needs to provide personalized products and services.
• Models and reinforces customer-obsessed behaviors and service best practices to deliver a distinctive customer experience.
• Delivers courteous, accurate, and efficient service in the photo department, including digital passport photo services and promotion of photo products and services.
• Processes customer transactions accurately, including purchases, returns, refunds, exchanges, and rain checks, while adhering to cash handling procedures.
• Owns the inventory, supplies, organization, and operational readiness of the photo department by monitoring inventory levels and ensuring product availability.
• Processes and fulfills photo, online, and web pickup orders with timeliness and accuracy.
• Provides customer support for services including FedEx, Western Union, and other offerings while ensuring compliance with policies.
• Maintains photo equipment and uses store systems to support daily operations and troubleshoot issues.
• Maintains a clean, well-merchandised photo department and supports merchandising and seasonal setups.
• Supports cross-training to ensure adequate coverage during times when the Photo Specialist is not scheduled.
• Follows company policies, asset protection standards, and regulatory requirements to ensure a safe environment.
