E-Central Credit Union in Pasadena, CA is seeking a Customer Center Representative to join our Phone Center team. This full-time on-site role focuses on delivering friendly service, handling member inquiries, processing transactions, and promoting financial products.

You’ll respond to calls, cross-sell loans and deposits, resolve issues, and maintain accurate records while staying compliant with policies. The position offers a competitive hourly wage, incentive payments, and a benefits package.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of customer service experience, preferably in banking or credit unions.
• Familiarity with financial products like loans and deposits.
• Strong relationship-building and problem-solving skills.
• Proactive in identifying opportunities to cross-sell and meet goals.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with professional phone etiquette.
• Ability to communicate fluently in Spanish and English is preferred.
• Comfort with using technology and learning new software.

Responsibilities

• Respond to incoming calls promptly and assist with a wide range of financial services.
• Educate members about credit union benefits and ensure accurate information.
• Build relationships and deliver friendly, knowledgeable support.
• Identify member needs and recommend loans, deposits, and digital tools.
• Meet monthly sales targets through cross-selling and solutions.
• Resolve issues, process requests, and document account changes accurately.
• Cross-train and share knowledge with teammates; prepare required reports.
• Stay up-to-date on products and regulatory requirements to serve members well.
