Description: Pho Prime is looking for an experienced and dedicated Kitchen Leader to join our team. If you’re passionate about crafting high-quality Vietnamese dishes and leading a team to deliver excellence, Pho Prime offers a great opportunity to grow your career in a fast-paced and rewarding environment.

Responsibilities:

  1. Cook all broths needed for the day, ensuring flavor and consistency.
  2. Operate the meat slicer to prepare meats to the proper specifications for the menu.
  3. Lead the kitchen team, guiding line cooks in daily tasks and ensuring high-quality standards.
  4. Oversee kitchen operations to ensure efficiency and cleanliness.
  5. Prep ingredients and supplies during downtime to ensure smooth service during peak hours.
  6. Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner and meets Pho Prime’s quality standards.
  7. Manage inventory and assist with stock rotation to minimize waste.
  8. Set up, clean, and maintain the kitchen and workstations according to restaurant protocol.
  9. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards at all times.
  10. Provide additional support to the kitchen team and assist with training new kitchen staff as needed.

Qualifications:

  1. Proven experience in a kitchen leadership role or as a line cook with leadership potential.
  2. Strong knowledge of cooking methods, including broth preparation and meat slicing techniques.
  3. Ability to remain calm under pressure and maintain efficiency in a fast-paced environment.
  4. Ability to perform prep work accurately and efficiently during downtime.
  5. Excellent communication skills and the ability to lead by example.
  6. Ability to stand, bend, stretch, and lift heavy materials as required.
  7. Understanding of kitchen sanitation and safety standards.
