Job summary

Paid phlebotomy training is provided to grow your healthcare skills within the nation's top humanitarian organization. This entry-level position requires a high school diploma and strong customer service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Customer service experience and effective verbal communication skills are required.
• A current, valid driver’s license with good driving record is required. This position requires a Class E driver’s license.
• Physical requirements may include lifting, pushing or pulling heavy weights and long hours.
• Position may require minimum height of 60 inches to safely operate vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Connect with donors, listen to their stories and explain the impact of donation.
• Create a welcoming environment so donors feel comfortable returning.
• Be detail-oriented to ensure collected blood meets goals and safety standards.
• May drive Red Cross vehicles and assist with setup/teardown at donation sites.
